George Bailey is a longtime public servant, having served 18 years in the South Carolina State House and 12 years on Dorchester County Council. He is known for his leadership, fiscal responsibility, and commitment to the people of Dorchester County.

George Bailey is running for County Council because District 1 needs a conservative Republican who can deliver results on Day One. He is ready, willing, and able to step in and finish the last two years of the term to be the immediate voice we need. He knows the issues and has the relationships to get things done.
OPPOSE HIGHER TAXES & FEES
George Bailey opposes increases in taxes and fees - and the recent reassessment is hitting residents hard at a time when we should be working to lower costs.
IMPROVE PUBLIC SAFETY RESOURCES
George Bailey wants to staff all fire stations throughout the county and bring an urgent care facility to St. George. And he wants to equip Sheriff-Elect Sam Richardson with the tools he needs to keep us safe.
